HEROIC DOG SAVES OWNER IN TREVISIO – On Wednesday, February 5, during a patrol on the West side of Treviso, the officers of the State Police were alerted by a large dog barking unusually, trying to attract attention. The dog, an Amstaff named Mia, led the officers to a parking lot where, on the ground and in a semi-unconscious state, was the dog’s owner, a middle-aged woman, suffering from a sudden drop in blood sugar.
Emergency response and the tireless Mia
The officers immediately called for medical assistance, which arrived promptly, allowing the woman to receive the necessary care. Meanwhile, Mia never stopped barking, displaying a behavior of great concern. When the woman’s husband arrived at the scene, he picked up Mia to get her out of the ambulance, where the dog had accompanied the paramedics.
